I need some container ratios. The placeholder size doesn’t have to be perfect but I’m always estimating.
I’ve got one placed nicely, but I’m working on the sizing of the one to the right. Site is

My thanks!

Bill, the trick is to take the YouTube Embed code and write down the width & height.
Replace "450px" or whatever with "100%" for both.
Create a Placeholder with the original dimensions, add the updated Embed code and only ever use the corners to scale.

Re: Placeholders for video?
Bill, have your videos got black backgrounds and if so why? Reason I ask is if I try viewing them at full screen. The one on the left does so nicely but the one on the right seems to contain a black background that distracts from the viewing experience.
Re: Placeholders for video?
@egg. Thanks Egg. I only guessed for the video on the left. I have not done any adjusting for the video on the right, but I’ll be doing that shortly.
Thanks for those instructions. Very helpful. I’ll let you know how I make out.

Can’t tell you how well this worked Acorn. Definitely needs a pin someplace. It’s on my bulletin board! I’m using this on about 4 sites. Thanks again. Terrific instructions.
