Hello Friends,
I'm new to the graphics world, and need some help! i cropped/lasso'd a picture of my dad and sister. ultimately, i want to place a background behind them. but i still have an unwanted white background behind them. although, i achieved cropping out the unwanted background, i am now left with a picture of my dad and sister with a white background that i cannot seem to get rid of...does this make sense?

Hi Dale
If you lasso part of a photo
then copy and paste that area you should not have any bg...open a transparent canvas and drag your copy to it...Only the area you selected should show..no bg..If you still get a white bg.you might get rid of it with the magic eraser applied to the white...
