What is the fastest method to change "Local text background" color?
Hi,
I'd appreciate your help.
The method I am using to change "Local text background" color is lengthy.
- Open Colour Editor
- Access drop-down menu
- Select "Local text background"
- Pickup color
Does any know a simpler method to shorten the steps or even change "Local text background" color directly?
Thanks for the assistance,
Carlos

I usually right click the colour I want on the status line colour bar which gives me the option [text selected of course] - not that I do it often, it may have changed

Carlos, if you want to apply the same text background throughout a documentthen I would createa Named colour (e,g., TxtBckgnd). Then highlight a word or phrase and right-click the Named colour on the Colour Bar and pick Text Background.
With the word or phrase still highlighted, create a Character style New Text Style (e.g., TextBackground).
You then apply the style to all needed words or phrases and when you want you can change the Named colour in the Colour Editor to update throughout your document.

=> My bad. I had XDP "View>Colour>Right click on colour>Set line color". Then I wasn't able to see "Local text background" when right clicking. Just tweak this option and by far is a better method than what I was doing.
