As the title states, I'm bored!
More bored work :D So I livened this old Blackpool pic. up from many moons ago. Like the brush Egg, thanks for the file.
Stygg
My PC is really slowed down by this also and I am using V15.

rs-cubed, Egg would have used the grouped scroll work in the middle of the page.
It freezes as the scroll is made up of 15 separate pieces.
It can be improved, sorry Egg, if you only group the symmetrical part of the scroll.
I did a rough chop, by eye and even this produces scrolls to the equal of Egg's quality design, but much the faster.

Notice the isolated small triangle. Had I been more careful, I would be using five pieces and not six.

Hi Stygg, does Blackpool need livening up? ;)
Sorry to others that's finding it slowing their machines to a crawl, mine actually crashed at one stage but I just thought this was my ancient old PC.
No need for the apology Acorn. The original brush shape is created as pure vector. It was my belief that on creating a brush (Art brush, repeat along strokes) the shapes were turned to bitmaps ???
The 15 individual shapes all have a multi-coloured linear fill. They are indeed grouped from 15 to 1.
As an experiment I created a 196px/in bitmap from the construction shapes and used this to create a brush. Is this any less strenuous?
This has nothing to do with a brush. But then I am not bored at the moment either.
A neighbor volunteers his time to maintain hiking trails in the Placitas Open Space. I glimpsed him on the hill side (about 1 mile away) while I was making lunch and took a photo with my Canon 200mm telephoto lens. I enlarged a duplicate in a circle and created a blend. Because the control points on the circle were different from the corners of the rectangle, the resulting blend had a odd rotation. A goat's eye distortion.
Egg,
I did not notice any slow down with the bitmap version.

Thanks for the info Ray
