Image slider - is this possible with Xara Web Designer Premium?
I am exploring Xara Web Designer Premium as an alternative to Adobe Muse, following Adobe's recent announcement that it is to discontinue Muse.
One of my Muse sites uses a full-with set of scrolling images on the homepage, but because the trial of Xara Premium doesn't include the content catalogue, I have been unable to ascertain whether or not I can replicate the design properly in Web Designer.
This is what it should look like: www.wood-net.co.uk/slider
Can anyone confirm if this is possible in Xara Web Designer Premium, please?

Yes. Either with Xara's Xara Slideshow (Online Content Catalog) or via a third party solution, such as Wow Slider http://wowslider.com/carousel-jquery...blur-demo.html
Re: Image slider - is this possible with Xara Web Designer Premium?
Thanks, Gary. Just to double-check, though: I need the slider to look like the one in my example - i.e. one central image fully visible, and two "half images" at either side, which become fully visible as the slider scrolls around. Looking at the Wow Slider it seems to only show images at once. Is it possible to configure it or the built in Slideshow in so that it behaves like my example at www.wood-net.co.uk/slider?

Design your images as the appear in the example you showed. :) Part of each image shows in each image.

Hi Gary C,
I don't believe any of the Xara bundled sliders can reproduce this effect.
I like the effect so I thought I'd try and reproduce it. I've used Hippani Animator 5 and placed it in a placeholder. I'm very graphically orientated so I find it easier to do it this way.

However if your more into css and javascript you could try this, more like the slider in your example I think. A bit beyond me I'm afraid:
