Vectordrawing of a woodcut print from German Artist Albrecht Dürer
Finally I'm ready with my drawing and will share it now with you. I used only the ShapePainterTool to draw this.
I hope you enjoy it.

With tablet, with a mouse it'll be a pain.
Ever I got a free minute I draw some thinks to complete the drawing in little pieces. At the begining I made the error to combine the ready drawn elements into one. That was not a good idea. Xara slows down with its speed to render the drawing, I can't see the drawing I do with my Wacom.
Then I draw ever element (i.e. a line or the shape for the initials AD) solo. This give me the right fastness to got a drawing expierince like on paper.
Good to have a Wacom with pressure sensitivity and Xaras support for this. BTW Xaras pressure sensitivity support can be more precise there is room for development.

+1 to that - I really noticed it when I got a cintiq...
using solo mode is a good way round the screen redrawing issue, provided you don't need to see the background whilst doing it - ideally we should have a 'new view' option that allows you to see what is being done outside of the solo mode in real time [and same for 'edit inside'] - but I'm not going to hold my breath; pity...
which just goes to show how good this drawing is :)
