Re: Typing Thread Problem
if it's plain test then toggling the underline button only works for new text, or text that is selected; if you are still not getting it to clear after trying it with selected text it may be something to do with HTML/URL or page style...
Re: Typing Thread Problem
I think it may have something to do with HTML setting in X being triggered incorrectly. However, I just retyped it in a new block and it is fine. It's a pain to have to do that frequently.
Re: Typing Thread Problem
if it's a web document I really don't know how xara handles that, apart from the obvious [?] such as urls
Re: Typing Thread Problem
Gilbert...
Is it possible you're seeing "screen trash"? The screen didn't refresh prroperly?
Can you just zoom and then ouot and see if that line is still there?
Just pondering!

Re: Typing Thread Problem
I think that was a definite possibility. This has happened before, and the next time it occurs I will give that a shot. Thanks Gare.

I don't get it handrawn.
Re: Typing Thread Problem
Hi Gilbert, just to confirm, are you talking about typing in a thread on Talk Graphics or typing in text within Xara software. I'm confused by the thread title.
If it's in Xara it could be that you've inadvertently applied an underline to a text style. If so every time you use that style it will have the default underline style.
It's always easier in cases like this if you can attach a .web or .xar file displaying the problem.

Gare's new [current] avatar is from Rene Magritte's painting 'The Son of Man' possibly his most well known, but not necessarily best; he was a surealist...:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Son_of_Man
I could wax lyrical about The Orioles and The Five Satins too, but I'd better not as the war is long over and it would get.... sureal...
