Stretchy Buttons

I have read the pages on creating Navbars but still not sure what to do.

I am trying to create a NavBar that goes the total page width. Have tried to stretch a Stretchy button but the wording on the button gets stretched too. Was able to elminate the name of the Button one time, but can't repeat. Further attempts to stretch the button failed.

Is this what the stretchy button was meant to do? Stretch the page width?

Have also tried creating a page-wide rectangle the height of a Navigation Bar and placing a Nav-Bar from the selection available inside...but it did not look very good with a mismatch of colours. The Match Colour tool does not work to match any of this.

Any tips or should I just go for a shorter-width navbar or buttons for each page?

No, i don't believe so. Stretchy buttons just elongate to fit the text content.

The Navbars already come with a "stretch" capability. Untick "All buttons the same width".

To get a NavBar to fit a page, you could adjust the Button spacing.
