http:// to https:// when publishing a website?
Hello,
when publishing my website is there a way to change http:// to https:// ?
i have an e-commerce site so i bought a SSL Certificate.
my host company said i have to upload it using https:// not http://
the http:// turns to https:// when the site is secure and turns green with a green lock in the browser bar.
wasnt sure in xara is there a way to change this or is this something for the pros, the guys and gals who do the coding?
thank you all in advance
Frank

The difference between HTTP and HTTPS is how the pages and images are communicated between the server at your hosting company and your readers' web browser. Web designer doesn't need to do anything different, the exactly same site that WD uploads for serving via HTTP will work when served by HTTPS.
In order for your site to be served via HTTPS, your hosting company will need to configure their server to use your key (and of course enable HTTPS).
