I should think they would look very, very different after they lose their heads. Ba da boom.

You like your steampunk but I'd say
Chainsaw style claws (chainclaws)/machine guns in forearms
back mounted rocket/grenade launchers
head mounted flamethrower (in mouth)
armour plating
and you've got one serious pest control problem.
