On sunday in the UK and on Monday here in Canada and the US and I believe in many other countries around the world we take the time to remember those who sacrficed so much. We remember the lives lost and those who returned home forever changed.
To all Veterans, and those currently serving I offer my thanks. No matter what war or what country you served or are serving you sacrificed a lot. THANK YOU
I'd also like to share this beautiful video, it is one of my favourites.

Re: Thank you to all veterans
There has been a story here in the UK about a WW2 soldier who was part of the Dam Busters mission, he sadly has passed away at the age of 99 and has no close family, no brothers children, nothing and no distant relatives who can attend his funeral he has a living nephew who cannot attend, so a campaign by the RAF has been started for people to attend his funeral on Remembrance Sunday (or Armistice Day) at 11am and so far hundreds of people have replied to the request including various veterans associations.
A tragic story in some ways but the fact that hundreds of strangers touched by the story will attend his funeral is a very fitting tribute.
Thank you Frances, I see why that is your favorite video. It might be mine too. I have a friend that I served in the Marine Corps with, his daughter wrote a book honoring veterans and she included one of my paintings and I felt honored.
