In Xara Web Designer 9 Premium, is there a way to make a button which when clicked will open the users default e-mail client and include a ready made line of text, such as 'Reserve this item, £000.00? This button would need to carry different info in each instance.

Re: A button with a difference?
Apply a mailto link to any object. See this page for some mailto syntax to add your own subject, body and other pre-defined content to the email.

Re: A button with a difference?
To clarify this a bit more. With your button selected go to Web Properties/Link and enter the following code in the "Link to Web or Email address" box: mailto:your@email.address?subject=In answer to your request.
Of course you need to substitute your email address for "your@email.address" and your subject line for "In answer to your request".

Re: A button with a difference?
Or add it all!
Code:
mailto:email1@example.com,email2@example.com?cc=email3@example.com?bcc=email3@example.com?subject=Predefined email?body=Paragraph 1 - This content has been predefined by the webmaster. %0A%0A Paragraph 2 - More text in the body
You are limited to 255 characters however in the 'Link to Web or Email Address' field, so choose your words carefully.

Re: A button with a difference?
You can set your default email to gmail in Windows.
There are a number of ways to do this (google it), I use ChromeMailer
I believe there are similar apps for doing the same with YahooMail and Outlook/Hotmail.
