background image and favicon?...
Hi there! I want my background image should be fixed. I've just got tired to rewrite the css code each time, uploading site content (changing default colour, adding image path). Where can I find the settings to do it once for all? And where my 'favicon' should be placed? At the page space or beyond somewhere? It doesn't work for some reason...

Use the do not scroll background tweak - found here

I don't think it matters, all you need to do is name the image "favicon" (preview in FF to test)
Re: background image and favicon?...
Thanks a lot, Drwyd, I tried to make favicon from objects in group. There should be an image. Does that tweak work for XDP7. Or maybe I can get some code to implement it?
Re: background image and favicon?...
And I meant background beyond the page area, which is white by default...:)
Re: background image and favicon?...
Multiple objects will need to grouped (Ctrl+G)
The tweaks were originally made for version 7 and work equally well with version 8 (MX)
Re: background image and favicon?...
Thanks!!! That's great! =D> Is there a tweak, or maybe an option to make a fixed image background outside page area?
Re: background image and favicon?...
The tweak works on both inside and outside :)
Re: background image and favicon?...
Sorry, but I'm not getting how to set background image outside pagespace in XDP7 without additional manual coding *.htm or *.css separately after export procedure. Tweaks are very cool, but at first, backround image should be set. Maybe in XWD7 it works fine, as illustrated on tweaks manual, but I can't find such a setting, where I should insert some code to implement image or to rename image to some special label, as it works with favicon... as I feel it should be done...

Re: background image and favicon?...
Here's a quick tutorial that may help
Re: background image and favicon?...
Yeahhhhhhhhhhh, that's it! Exactly, what I need! It was just so simple:
1. (for page area) choose an image in bitmap gallery and press "Background" button
2. (for outside page area) drag and drop an image from bitmap gallery, holding "Ctrl" button
I think it will help a lot of people, like me. My Appreciation, Drwyd!
