Soooo, I enjoy using Namo v4 but due to being on dial up I have not downloaded the v5 trial...My question here is;
Has anyone tried out this latest version as well as v4, and if so...is it worth the upgrade?
Looking forward to hearing any comments regarding such, thanks

sorry I can't really advise but I use web editor 4 too. I did download the 5 version at one point but didn't try it too much. Maybe I'll get it again and test it out
It is 41 megs which when I had a dialup might have taken 3 hours. I use Flashget as a download program and could set it to download when I went to bed and hang up and shut down my computer when finished.

it also splits a download into parts , each one tending to download near your normal speed but all parts downloading at the same time and therefore taking less time. I find it even improves my cable download (the 41 meg namo demo came down at 400 k/s and took 2 minutes).
I'll let you know of any vast improvements.

use NetObjectsFusionMX instead? If, that is, you want a SITE centred package. Gary uses it as well

I've noticed some improvements in how things on pop-up menus are arranged ... less switching between tabs and stuff like that which adds up to less clicks and time.
Also one really neat thing is the photo album tool. You can just select a bunch of image files and the thumbnails are made automatically on a page in a table and you can have the photos appear in their own pop-up window. I have this type of thing on my site but it took countless hours when I did it by hand and I have about 100 painting pics I never even put on my site yet because it's just so much work. I made a gallery with WE5 in a minute with 20 paintings. I'll look at this feature more and see if it makes me want to upgrade.
