Photo editing - How do you use Xara for photos?
Xara Designer Pro and Photo & graphic Designer have some fun and interesting photo tools. Magic eraser, liquid colour, brightness levels, and more. So how do you make use of them?
Here is a quick example of a photo compilation I did of my dog. As you can see while the original photo was cute the background was busy and the dog bed was distracting. This was one case where the magic eraser would have taken many passes and much fiddling to remove all of the bed (I did try though :D) So I cut a section of carpet out of a copy of the photo and made a seamless tile out of it.
I enlarged the eyes with the liquid colour and made a few colour adjustments. I know it's not perfect but it was a fun exercise
So what kinds of photo editing have you done in Xara?

Re: Photo editing - How do you use Xara for photos?
I like to use Xara's transparencies to accomplish what is called in photo editing, dodge and burn. This is where you can add drama to a photography by making areas lighter or darker. I do this using two or more layers of transparency applied to cloned images. It is not uncommon to have six or more cloned images. And Xara works with these effortlessly.

Very nice Gary, that definitely does add drama to the photo. The stained glass transparency is one of my favourites for darkening areas on photos.
