Layer problems
Hi I'm having some probelms with layers. I've already set some up on my index page without any problems, however, I'm trying to do the same on others pages in the site but whenever I paste the objects onto the layer I've created, they end up on the mouse off page so they appear all the time rather than a pop up. can you help please.

Re: Layer problems
Hi Arjay
Select layer before pasting. The objects will remain visible until an object is set to trigger the layer.

Re: Layer problems
Hi I've just tried it again including setting the trigger but it's still showing on the mouse off page even though I pasted it onto the new layer I have created just for this pop up. I'm still very confused as it worked OK on the index page and other sites I've done. Bye the way, sorry about posting this twice by accident.

Re: Layer problems
Could you upload a sample .web/.xar file for us to look at ?

Re: Layer problems
I've attached the file I'm having problems with. You need to go down to 4 Start Hotels page and then the Heritage Hotel on the top left of the list of hotel. The Heritage image that is sitting in the middle of the page should be a pop up when the mouse goes over the small image on the four start page. Hope this makes sense. As you can see, the mouse overs on the home page are working properly.

Re: Layer problems
Hi Arjay
Found 3 problems- Image not on Correct Layer
- No trigger set
- Image on pasteboard instead of page
I cut and pasted the image into position (while the pop up layer was selected) with SHIFT+CTRL+V which seems to be the easiest way. See attached.
Hope I've understood you right.

Re: Layer problems
Hi Thanks for all this. However, I don't know what I've done but when I click on the 'Link Properties' in the toll bar, all the boxes a greyed out and I cannot access or amend any of them. This is happening on all the sites I've built. Any idea what I've done please.

Re: Layer problems
You should only get that if no objects are selected.
