Trouble with jagged edge round text in Designer Pro 6
Hi Guys,
Anyone offer advice on this? I am working on a new site http://www.fasciacraft.co.uk, in the top right where it says Fasica, Soffits, Guttering, the blue underlying text is jagged whereas the red text is smooth, anyone know why?
Cheers JLT

Not sure why that is happening but I do see it.
What if you export the text and the background image as a single image? And if you export as JPEG use less compression, say 80-85%.
Also your Free Foam image is a JPEG and the red color bleeds which is typical of JPEGs. You would be much better off exporting that as 8-bit PNG (either 256 colors or 16 colors).

The problem is that the text that looks jaggy is real text and that's the best browsers can smooth it. Group it, so that it becomes an image like the red text on the left which is an image automatically due to it being rotated (browsers can't render rotated text)

Hi,
The text that is 'crisp' has no outline, the text on the right (unclear) has a blue outline on a transparent bacground this maybe the problem as it is probly not antalised.

Hi Guys,
Thank you for your quick responses, I thought I had grouped the text correctly but, I had soft grouped them, as soon as I removed the soft group and just applied 'group' the images cleared up straight away.
Thanks for your help.
