Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Just heard back from Takarajamisha in Tokyo. They selected 23 of my new images and 23 of Gene Levine's for MOOK 16. This is the first time that I have had as many images selected as Gene. Usually Gene has about 2/3 images selected to my 1/3.
These are two images that were not selected. Both are hybrids and combine several different stereogram methods.
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Congrat's Gary.. Well deserved for your efforts.
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Yes, congratulations Gary :)
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Congratulations!
I like the two attached images very much. Don't know why they were not selected.
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Bill - I guess it is the old story of the difficult mother-in-law (is that redundant?) who gives her son-in-law two shirts.
To please his mother-in-law, her wears one when he and his wife go to her mother's house.
The mother-in-law looks at her son-in-law and raising her eyebrows asks, "What, you didn't like the other shirt?" :D
They only have room for so many images in the magazine and so they can never include all of our images.
Surprisingly, three of my favorites, Coins, Compass, and Pas de Deux were not selected. :o
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Cute story Gary,
I like all your stereogram’s, seems like they should all be selected.
Congrats Gary.

Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Thanks for sharing your wonderful news...congratulations. All your work is excellent.
I especially like the 2nd one here because it is so pretty.
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Excellent...... Both great, especially Elegance, it really bounces out.....
Re: Ear and Elegance - Stereograms
Two more wonderful stereograms, Gary. I really like the concept for the ear one but I've got to say the elegance SG is, by far, my favorite of the two.
Maybe next time you'll tip the scales a little more in your favor over Gene.
As always, I look forward to seeing more of your work,
Harry
