How do I stop Firefox opening multiple tabs
How can I stop firefox from opening multiple tabs on startup? When I open firefox browser, I get multiple tabs opening all at once-several with my homepage, others with various topics. I have to close them individually to keep this from slowing down my homepage load. Any idea what setting I need to change? I am using Firefox 3 Beta 2.

Re: How do I stop Firefox opening multiple tabs
It looks like when you shut down Firefox you instructed it to remember your open tabs. Go to Options > Tabs and put a check mark to warn you when closing multiple tabs. If that doesn't resolve it, try starting Firefox in safe mode and then resetting the preferences.

A little off subject, but I love tabs in browsers.
A quick tip: Use folders in your bookmarks. You can group them however you want. Then FireFox has a command to "Open all in tabs".

If you run a widescreen monitor with a fairly high resolution I'd recommend Firefox Showcase, specifically the Showcase Sidebar (although unlike the screenshot, I'd recommend turning off the normal tabs once you're using the sidebar), which I now couldn't live without. You'll never go back to normal tabs again.
