Images
I have inserted a jpeg into my project and applied a transparency to it. I wanted the whole bottom of the page to have different images, but have the same transparency, so I ctrl-k and moved the image. But when I put a different picture in one of the frames, all of them change. Is there a way to make the images separate without losing the transparency?
Thank you :)

Re: Images
As an experiment, I started a web page, then did the following:- Dragged a single jpg from Windows Explorer and dropped it at the bottom of the page.
- Sized it proportionaly, using a corner handle.
- Applied a 50% lineal transparency.
- Right mouse click & dragged a clone, then another, creating a row of [same] images them across the bottom of the page.
- From my open Windows Explorer, I Ctrl+dragged a different photo over the top of the first image and released the mouse button. The new image replaced the former, and the transparency feature remained.
- Did the same thing with a different new image, dragged over and released onto the second image. The new image replaced the former, and the transparency feature remained.

Re: Images
what I did was have the transparency on one side of the image and then copied. When I apply a new image to the copied image, both images changed. What step am I missing?

Re: Images
Note the use of the Ctrl key when dragging & dropping the new photo over the target bitmap. Step 5 above. ;)

I must be tired, because I missed that one.
Thank you Curtis for your help and your patience :)

Re: Images
I tried with the ctrl pressed and it still changed all of them at the same time. I will keep trying.
It did it once and then stopped. I also gave each one a different name hoping that would work.

Re: Images
Why not attach your .web file so I can take a peek? :)

Re: Images
Use Ctrl+SHIFT while dragging a new image to replace a single image on the page. This will prevent the new image replacing all of them.
