A little something for the bathroom door
Just as the title says, it's supposed to go up on the bathroom-door, as a little "sign" where it is =)
I rent an apartment, so I wont paint directly on the door, but I will cut it out on an self-adhesive foil and put it up.
The height of the whole thing is going to be around 80-90cm. It's still a work in progress, but it's taking shape. What do you think?
Re: A little something for the bathroom door
Might end up being a little something on the bathroom floor
Different to the old favourite: "Our aim is to keep this bathroom clean - your aim will help !"
Re: A little something for the bathroom door
Hahahaha. I love it! The few simple lines formed the anatomy of the child wonderfully. Great job!
Re: A little something for the bathroom door
You did indeed capture the forms most adequately with just a few lines. I don't think I could have done that. You have a very good eye for this kind of work.
Re: A little something for the bathroom door
I have seen the adhesives on tape like that stick better than paint. I would test the adhesive first to make sure it is removeable. Take a small piece of the stickier material and put it on the door by the hinges. If it is removeable, then good, if it rips off the finish trying to remove it, it most likely will not be seen. If it falls off before you have a chance to finish your artwork, then It will not stick long enough to be worth your effort.
Nice minimal drawing...

Very thoughtful piece of work KP.

Re: A little something for the bathroom door
I remember getting into trouble when a few guys used an "adhesive" to put up pictures where they shouldn't have put pictures. Since I lived in the same area, and nobody admitted to doing it, I got in trouble too.
The military is great for that kinda thing...
