How do you view .ai and .eps files in Windows
I have a question which has been concerning me for several weeks now.
I have a folder on my hard drive which contains around 20 images in .eps format and about 10 files with .ai format.
If I set up windows explorer to view thumbnails, I am unable to see the content of the files.
Can anyone explain the reason for this and suggest a work around please.
Cheers
Ian

Hi
where did they come from these files?
In short they are adobe file formats - .ai is illustrators native format, and eps is a print/vector format.
They are not image formats and so windows will not read them, unless you have illustrator installed, and then not necessarily.
Do you not have the program that created them?
