Learning to hate portraits
I worked on this over days and put her away and away again. Easier to draw cars. She is mostly elipses.
I found reversing the transparency on elipitical fills to be handy at times. Did you know you can do that?
Nothing to use bling on, ho hum. Her eyes are different colors, but are so in the original picture.

some earrings.

With a sultry look like that who needs bling. If I could make furniture like you draw I could make a fortune.
Re: Learning to hate portraits
Thanks, Norman, nice wink in the avatar, next smile and hit 'em with a bright bling on the teeth. Well, I have heard it said, that "If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with b*llsh*t." (All mistypings deliberate, you know I don't use spell check).
I'm like Avis, I try harder.
Does it matter?
Re: Learning to hate portraits
You wouldn't like my smile Sally just had my front teeth removed still painful when I smile I look like Dracula with two eye teeth nothing else.
Re: Learning to hate portraits
Well you hung on to your teeth a long time. Mine were showing signs of wear, so they laminated them with veneers. Feel like saying "What's up Doc?" with Bugs Bunny.
Re: Learning to hate portraits
Great work, Sally.
Did you use Brushes for her hair?
Regards,
Remi
Re: Learning to hate portraits
The hair has a base of fractal plasma and fractal clouds, and on top of that are the Xara italic brushes applied with my tablet. It takes a lot of brush strokes to achieve hair that doesn't looked combed or brushed. That is ironic.
