Is there a way to have a "clean slate" with 3D6? Or do I always have to start with the stock "start-up" X3D page and work from there?
I'm used to starting with a clean sheet of paper....

Hi Glassdogs,
Delete the text and turn off the border. File Menu > Save as default. You will be asked if you are sure you want to overwrite the default. Answer Yes. Now every time you open Xara3D6 it will be a blank workspace.
Thank you Bill that's one pain in the neck away. Just shows we don't read the help files etc.
...Norman
Happy to be of help.
Norman, is that in the Help file? I just noticed it in the File Menu :o
I think that the default file also has the tracking set to 80 as well, so check this out too.
Cheers Egg, I forgot to check the default tracking before saving the new default file. When I open the blank file the tracking is set to -50 and the line spacing is 80%.
Norman I looked in the help and it does mention using the File Save as default. :)
Bill, I couldn't remember what it was exactly, but I knew it wasn't the normal. Xara really ought to ship with a Blank template as well, as I'm sure many users use their own blank template but are unaware of these two settings.
