Pen Tool: 'Clearing' it...
I have a Pen Tool idiosyncrasy (or maybe it's me & lack of knowledge) that I'd like to ask about. (I search & read post about pen tool & didn't see this)
Say I am drawing a line, with pen tool, as represented by clicking 1 & 2 to make nodes to create the line, now I want to make a second line as represented by clicking a 3rd & 4th time to make two more nodes to create the second line... Now, if I do this this the Pen Tool thinks I am still making the first line and connects nodes 2 & 3 <sigh>
But, if I switch out of the Pen Tool to, say, one of the select tools, and come back to the Pen Tool I can to the second line with out it being part of line 1.
Is there a way to 'Clear' the Pen Tool without selecting another tool?
(and 'no' I do not want to copy, duplicate, or clone the first line to get 2nd)
Thanks - Curious, Tom

Thanks for that. I have been using Xara since it was called Xara Studio and I am ashamed to say I never knew that. All those wasted seconds... where's my Prozac? :p

Your my friend for life Mickie, every time I used the pen tool I used to swear under my breath. It's as they say "It's easy when you know how."
