Question about all of the programs

First let me say hello.
I just got the Xara 3d 6 and love it.
I also have Photoshop7 and photoshop draw, forget name.
My questions being is I am just learning, I am slow cause I am old, and want everything to work the first time. Whats the easist way to get everything to work together, should I buy the rest of the Xara products? or is there a simple way to use these together. I just got shoved into the board guy at my gaming community, and I have zero knowledge of any of that, but would like to jazz it up with the Xara 3d.
