Paintings from Photographs
I have used the Adobe Tools such as Conte Crayon, etc. for years and the PhotoPaint tools render differently. And that stimultes the need to dabble and see what I get. I learn as I go, so if you want to try your hand, enjoy. There is much to be explored.
Here again, I picked the photography apart with masks to adjust the colors the way I wanted before applying the filters, but you'd get good results by just using the filters and blend modes.
And the interface is customizeable as I expected.

Re: Paintings from Photographs
Exposure corrections can be a start to some wonderful work as it can create graininess that when you smooth it over it halfway to the creation of a painting.
This was dealt with as a whole, no masking here and one filter only, crayon was used with a blend mode of darken over the correction.
