Green, yellow or red

I drew this macintosh apple. Then I wondered what it would taste like as a golden delicious, or pippin. Then I ate it. Nuts, now I can't go back to the model.

I like the red one best, is the texture on the surface a touch of Mehdi Natural Grain?

I like the golden delicious flavor. My grandmother used another green apple called 'Granny Smith' to make cobblers and pies.

Great job on the apples (and the humor). I like the table surface too!

No plugins used. I used a ground bitmap (recolored) and fractal clouds.

I thought you couldn't use XaraX on a Macintosh. Or any Apple, come to that...:D

Oh, and the only cooking apple worth its pips is the large green British variety called "Bramley". Too sour for most of us to eat raw (though my brother likes them) but they make the most fantastic cooked dishes. Of course it helps if you have a cook like my wife Karen...;)

Great still life drawing,especially the dark green apple. I also used a bitmap and fractal clouds on my attempt at the Pear I posted, I thought it appeared more realistic than the plugin!
