Just messing about and traced a photo tonight. As usual you get the Black gaps, so in an effort to reduce them I selected all and using the Contour tool, applied a 2 pixel, bevel join, external, inset path. About an hour later I got the following result. This is a close up.
Quite an interesting effect.

And one using 1 Pixel round join. (This one & the one above took far less time, about 5 minutes a time.

That is so cool Egg! A great technique even if it is slow. I really like the last one with the 1pixel round. Now I'm wondering how it would look with a 3 pixel round join followed by a 2 pixel feather!

Good God, I hope not. The guy in the photo should not have any time to be messing about with 2 pixel bevels. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
However, if this IS you Egg, I've got a few questions of my own......... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
