I'm playing with kid stuff again. I found a flash site that had various puzzles for kids to assemble, my grandaughter loves it. Then I got thinking hey! I can make some in Xara for her to do w/out being online.
Here it is, I just used one of the images off the XaraX CD for the fill, and used .25 point line to show off the puzzle pieces.

Here is the Xara file 1st select all and fill it with a bitmap. Then scramble it and let the kids put it back together.
The site also had coloring pages with objects to fill so I am going to do that next.

Wouldn't work with my granddaughters....little buggers would just hit the undo button !!!

Very nice!
I've done the colouring bit for my lot and it works well, so long as you fill with white, not 'no fill'. Letters and numbers are good, as they can be dragged into the right order, rather like fridge magnets!

1) Scramble the pieces.
2) Save the file under a new name.
3) Hide the original file with a cryptic name.
4) Close and reopen Xara and the new file.
5) See how far "undo" gets them now!
