Hi, I know a bit of html and design.
One of my nav bar menus is "Contact Us"
and then the menu pulls down to display the options of contacts.
I would like these contacts to be linked directly to e mail....
such as in html you would type in:
a href="mailto:NAME@EMAIL.com"
So in the editing of menus in webster 4 I have two options ....URL and Targeting Frame...
which one....and how?
....please

In Webstyle 4 you would enter mailto:NAME@EMAIL.com within the url field for the button named contact us. When a person clicks on the button it will cause their mail client to open allowing them to send a mail to the address specified within the link.

As Xara Support said, that's the way to do a mailto link.
However, a bit of general advice: mailto links are a primary source of spam on the internet. Spammers send automated bots around the internet, that trawl for email addresses that are contained within mailto links. This isn't just Xara's menus, this is any web page that utilises mailto.
This is somewhere that the Xara Online feedback form is very useful http://www.xaraonline.com/home/appli...s/ffo_home.htm
It allows visitors to your website to email you -- but your email address remains hidden and away from spammers. It also solves the problem that some users may not have an email client installed. If they use something like Hotmail for example, or are in an internet cafe, the mailto link is ineffective and they won't be able to email you.
The mailto link is something that's been around for a long time, and I'm not saying you can't use it or anything. But I just thought I'd offer some advice on the potential pitfalls of it, and a possible alternative.

I'd start a revolution, if I could get up in the morning.

I will check that out, thanks for the tip

in reference to the spam thing...
can they pull the email as it's a javascript ?
(rather than an "a href" )
