And it had its winter fur!
Only some changes in the settings of the "Oil Painting" brush I have shown in the post "more on warping bitmaps".
(I prepare a little collection of brushes for the Xone).
Settings are so important!

Ivan this is absolutely fabulous, how do you do it...
Christine
...and perhaps they will become a cat!
The secret is stretching your image before using it as a blend like I have shown it in "more on warping bitmaps".
For the fur, rotation angles were important:
-rotate along the path
-brush angle 90 degree
-rotation change by 5 degree
-random 0-79 degree

Great work, Ivan. You should treat your cat to a nice juicy mouse, however.
I must have gotten the leftover movies with my Xara X delivery . Nothing about this stuff on them anywhere...
You truly are an amazing individual Ivan! Your brushes and effects are just getting better and better for every post.
Now I just have to make myself some time to play around with all that joy that you are spreading.

Ivan,
With 4 cats in the house, I never saw one of them do that. Wonderful ideas that I will have to find the time to play with.

I finally managed to create a fur brush - thank you Ivan.

Heres something I was working on... Lace.
Christine
Hi Christine,
I think Simon T Lewis from "thelondonhouse" should be very interested with your lace. I have thought to that when he replied to one of my posts. And he has posted another one about the use of Xara X with Poser. I am also very interested to develop textures which can be used in 3D programs (I use Lightwave 6.5 with its new fantastic UV mapping possibilities).
And for fur, I forgot to say that random offset may be very useful!
Kindly yours,
ivan
