Re: Mouseover Advice needed
Unfortunately there is no reverse effect for MouseOver Web/Anim effects. We have asked for this, but so far nothing has happened.
There are ways to work around this depending on the effect you have chosen. For example if your background is white and you want an object to disappear, you can place a white rectangle over the object and have it fade in, which will appear that the object below the white rectangle is fading to white.
I wish I could tell you that his will be changed, but I don't think it will. :(

Welcome to TalkGraphics Iporretta.
Going along similar lines to Gary's answer, look at the attached xar file. Strangely reveal animations aren't suppossed to work on pop-up layers but there's a cheat I'll post in another thread.

Thank's for your help Egg!
Re: Mouseover Advice needed
Okay, so failing an "in and out" action for my side banner, is it possible to bring the sidebar back and gone with a menu click where the "X" is shows on this page? http://quadwranglemusic.com How would I do this? Many thanks in advance - Luis

As Acorn and Egg have highlighted you may need some workarounds to achieve your design.
You are welcome to take a look at this idea:
1. Place a sidebar link on your Home page (I have used a conventional mobile menu symbol).
2. Place your "X" on the sidebar layer (popup).

You can toggle between the two links to open and close the sidebar layer /popup.
3. Should you wish to have the sidebar autoload on the Home page, you need a few lines of code placed in the Page HTML head (there is likely other ways to do this also).
Any animation you want on the popup layer can be achieved BEFORE you place a link to it, or if you have created a link already, create your content and animations on the MouseOff layer (or any layer that does not have link), then copy and paste to the sidebar popup.

Re: Mouseover Advice needed
Or, in Layer Properties > Pop-Up Setting, simply un-check [ ] Close Pop-up Automatically. This is automatically add the X on the top right to close the pop-up layer.

Thank you so much everybody - these ideas have been very useful! - Luis

Re: Mouseover Advice needed
Luis, I failed to see why you delayed the menu's arrival.
The following is a mock-up of the CSS functionality you might like to look at:

I am sure there will be questions but try to understand the basics of:
- Add the Links.
- Ensuring the Link settings match the site.
