Editing Designer Pro+ Website in the Cloud
Hi. I'm thinking of moving over from Designer Pro X to Designer Pro+.
After I make a Website in Pro+, say I want to edit it while I am away from my desktop, perhaps using my iPad or another PC, how much editing can be done in the Cloud using Cloud Pro+?
Extensive, or just simple changes?

Seamus, you seem to have missed my Post elsewhere.
Web design in the Xara Cloud+ is limited: no Placeholder code access, no layers, no presentation steps.
There is no "Cloud Pro+".
Xara Pro+ is your desktop application. Two installs at a time so you could have a spare when travelling to use another PC.
Cloud+ is an anywhere product for modest web page changes [at present].

So, you can’t actually edit your existing website using the cloud function?

Hi Seamus,
You should be able to make text and photo changes, and some basic on-page layout improvement with Xara Cloud. And of course, republish the changes from within Cloud too. Today Cloud is built to support those quick, simple on-the-go changes that even business non-designers can do. Log into Cloud, open your site, and give it a try.
Happy creating.

Thanks for that, Matt. And just a quick related point for switching across as I mentioned above 'Hi. I'm thinking of moving over from Designer Pro X to Designer Pro+.'...
If I install Designer Pro+, and that's a desktop app just like Designer Pro X, if I fail to update the following year, my Pro+ remains operational, right? Or it is actually subscription?

Re: Editing Designer Pro+ Website in the Cloud
it is a subscription - your pro+ will end
but you should get fast regular updates and much better support ... nothing in life is guaranteed however it has to be in xara's interest to do this though to stay viable

Thanks, handrawn, for clarifying that.
And the Lifetime 50% discount I've been offered, does that mean approx. €100 per year?
Re: Editing Designer Pro+ Website in the Cloud
depends which option you take here are the standard prices:
