Menu-Navbar use with WebStudio problems
Good morning,
I'm using WebStudio to design my pages as it's a very simple and easy to use (and very affordable!) drag & drop program.
The user forums are excellent for support and finding fixes and experts who are very proficient, and recommend using, Xara for menus, etc.
The site I'm working on is www.animalescapades.com and with the help of WebStudio users, I've finally at least gotten my menu to show up.
My problem is that I can't seem to get the sub menus to go anywhere. In the program I'm using, if I create a menu using independent buttons, I'd just drag the link to each subsequent page.
I've defined the menu items in Webstyle and uploaded the files but for now, it's just a cool looking menu! I've attached a screen shot of how I have my menus & buttons defined.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

I think you need to add the .htm or .html (or similar) extensions to the URL's to make them function
Re: Menu-Navbar use with WebStudio problems
Actually, just visiting the site, the menu's seem to work fine - or am I missing something.
Re: Menu-Navbar use with WebStudio problems
Thanks so much for you input!
Earlier today one of the moderators on WebStudio directed me towards this link: http://webstudio.wikispot.org/Xara_Menu
That's how I got the menu to work and as you said, I had to add the html to the URL code in the menu settings but with WebStudio there were a couple of other details I had to tweak.
When I tried to come back to this forum to say that I found the fix, for some reason I wasn't able to connect to the talkgraphics site.
I'm very happy now that I've spent another couple of hours with this site and with having gotten the menu to behave the way I need it to!!
Thanks again for your response!

Re: Menu-Navbar use with WebStudio problems
Hi:
You really do not have to put in the web address in each link... The WWW part. You can do it like this: ..\directory\directory.html . You can use this as long as you are only two directories or two folders deep. The shallower you go, the easier it is for you to figure out. It's just HTML code. Just follow the directory chain down to your page you want displayed.
