Make Money!
Given the trials and tribulations of the euro and sterling as mentioned in this thread, I thought a new challenge was in order befitting the agile and creative minds of the habitués of Talkgraphics.
There is increasing talk of a global currency, thought by many to be the next step towards the goal of a single world government.
That being the case, how about the name for the new money? I put forward my suggestion for “The Mundo” and here’s my version of the symbol to represent it. The “M” is self-evident and the
sphere represents the earth.
Perhaps you might wish to either elaborate on my basic idea, or “coin” your own name and currency design. ;)
Saludos,
Bob.

An optimistic global monetary base, the Crisis-Over Currency Planet-wide. You'll understand why I don't post a graphic for the Cocup ;))

Re: Make Money!
Many currency symbols use two horizontal lines. The Euro and Yen come to mind easily. There are others.
My suggestion for a world monetary currency symbol is simply called DOH. It is a homonym for the American slang word Dough, meaning money.
It can also be D'OH! As in sticker shock sound when you find out how much an item costs in the new currency. ;))
Symbol consists of an inverted Greek capital letter Delta with two horizontal lines. ;)

Re: Make Money!
One world currency and one world government would require world peace (which sadly is why we will never see this in our lifetimes) So my currency is simply called the POE. Which stands for Peace On Earth. The circle represents the earth, the dove in flight represents peace circling the earth

Re: Make Money!
Sorry guys it has already been decided for you. ;)
But since anyone can make a form of currency, I made my own too.
