Clarification on Xara Designer Pro+ Update 20.5.0.60603 Update
@Eva-K
Web Export Settings
Clarity:
Vertical Supersite --> Web Properties > Export > Transitions > Transition effect: Scroll & Transition direction: Vertical.
Horizontal Supersite --> Web Properties > Export > Transitions > Transition effect :Scroll & Transition direction: Horizontal.
Conventional Website --> Web Properties > Export > Transitions > Transition effect: Website. All pages published as individual HTM(L) files.
Bug
Again, we are getting the NASTY Navigation Menu for any "Supersite".
My quick fix is Website Code (body):
Code:
<script>xr_palrt0();</script>
UI
Also the Transition direction is that moving forward in the web page sequence (Next). It is the reverse going back (Previous).
Yes, the Page 1 / Page 2 mock-up shows this but when you set the Transition time to zero, the mock-up doesn't oblige so Users soon ignore dross and can miss the obvious.
SELECTION UI

Headers (& Footers)
These are very naive.
Would it not have been more sensible to explain how these are created so a designer can make their own? e.g., edit an existing one (LDG > select Header/Footer > right-click > open > modify > save As elsewhere > Drag and Drop to use?

Well this is really NOT great. Previously you had a simple selection Web Export Opotions > Either Conventional or Supersite.
Now you have this convoluted journey as pointed out by Acorn:

Conventional Website --> Web Properties > Export > Transitions > Transition effect: Website. All pages published as individual HTM(L) files.
Well thank you Acorn I'd never twig this was how to create a conventional site. The original method was hidden enough but this is hiding this option even deeper. Let's face it it should be a top level option, even doing so within the template selection. File / New / 960 conventional website OR File / New / 960 supersite
Why hide this option even deeper?

Oh please, please remove this option on supersites. Why should users be forced to include code for a feature that should never be a part of a supersite?

We had this problem resolved in an earlier version.
My code fix, allow the pop-up to appear but it is immediately discarded. Not brilliant.
Why would my Clients want such a pop-up to appear in a design paradigm used everywhere else on the web? It just says "amateur".

+1
I rarely create a supersite but regularly use them to create sliders. The last thing I require on a slider is this ugly 'navbar'
