Google Contact Form not sending
Hi - thanks for any help
I inserted a Google Form widget. I hit send and entered the email address I wanted the request for information form to email to. I filled out a test form online and hit submit. It sent to my husband but a blank form got sent to him, not the filled in request for information I sent him. It asks him to click on the form and fill it out. I am trying to insert a form a potential client can fill out and submit to my husband's email address.
Also, I made the size 760 x 1300 and still the top pretty them picture doesn't show up. It does show up when it sent to my husband and he clicked on it to fill out. So weird.
www.craveinvt.com if this helps
Thanks! Peace. Michele
Re: Google Contact Form not sending
Well it sent for me I think, but the thank you page thanks me for my contact information which is confusing. Did you receive it? It said you are preparing a meal for all the members of TalkGraphics. :)
Because of all the Google branding on the form and the dubious thank you message the overall effect is not consistent with the elegant site design.
I would either ditch the form altogether and just provide an email for people to contact you, or use something that looks more professional and elegant. JotForm is a good choice https://www.jotform.com/ and in the past I have used Formoid http://formoid.com/ though the site appears not to be secure.
Re: Google Contact Form not sending
Thank you - will try that and post back. I agree with what you said about branding, etc. The issue I was having was that when I filled out a test form, it should have gone to my husband's email as a request for information with the client's name, email, tel and what kind of event they wanted. Instead, he got the form blank and was asked to fill it out.
I am going to try one of the others (Jot looks good) and see if that works. Thanks!
