Recommendation: Old Time Font?
I need some recommendations for a 'Old Time' font, for a PathTag, without having to go to a Circus (P.T.Barnum) font... Something fairly clear so it is legible when put on something the size of a Quarter... I can post what I have so far if that would help...
Re: Recommendation: Old Time Font?
Tom what is your definition of "Old Time"?
Something from the 1800s or something older like Black Text?

I was making this sampler so did not see your post until now. These are a few that I have installed, I believe they are all free.
EDIT: I think the sampler needs to be larger, my eyes are not as good as they once were. ;)

For Civil War era fonts try this link: http://www.waldenfont.com/
The fonts are not free but are not very expensive.

I don't know if this will help or be suitable but you might check this font out. It's free as far as I can tell.
