Multiple layers added from one click
(PGD365/Win10)
This keeps happening after my laptop is awaken from hibernation.
A varying number of extra layers are added following a single click to the 'add layer' button in the Page & Layer gallery.
In the attached screenshot example an extra 21 layers were added. Normally it's about 4. It's a royal pain in the derrière because although you can undo, you can only undo one layer at a time. Obviously the work around is to close PGD between sessions, but...

Re: Multiple layers added from one click
first thing I would do is try another mouse [even if you are not experiencing issues elsewhere] - the list of things that can go a bit skewy when returning from hibernation is long, and the causes could be anything from BIOS bugs to out of date drivers....
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
Thanks handrawn for advice. I'll investigate a bit further.
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
Mine does it even out of Hibernation, it is always crazy lol. Leads to crashes and ruins my work flow :(
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
Thank you Behzad for confirming after all this time it’s not just me this happens to. Fingers crossed the latest update fixes this highly annoying bug.
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
Thanks Jonopen , I love your avatar.
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
yes welcome to the club behzad, though you'd probably rather not be in it :)
for me it only happens with the cintiq pen.... as in other thread
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
I love the club :) as long as you and others are in it :P
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
Are you still getting this problem and if so do you have a reproducible case we could look at? Are you also saying that closing / re-opening PGD fixes the issue (which I suppose makes it harder to send files..)
Thanks
Rob
Re: Multiple layers added from one click
Rob yes it still happens. I have two different wacom tablets and they both do this only when hitting new layer button.
