Prevent Resizing of Image for End Users?
Is anyone aware of a way to prevent an end user from changing the aspect ratio of an image - in this case, a company logo? I recently designed a new logo for our company, but the persons responsible for applying it to certain marketing materials have been stretching it and making it look different on pretty much every piece of media. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Of all people, I would think marketing personnel would be especially sensitive to your company's branding guidelines and keeping the logo untouched.
If the company guidelines are not clear or personnel are not accountable then I would only issue a simple rectangle representing the logo's aspect ratio which could be used in draft copy; once the draft has been approved then you or a qualified person should insert the actual logo.
I am not aware if there is anyway to prevent a graphic from being manipulated (stretched or resized) in a layout/graphics program.

I think you can select the bitmap in the Page & Layer Gallery and lock it.

extreme violence usually works
failing that, reporting him to his boss might help

It's not possible to stop people changing images once they have them - after all you know how easy it is to do with Xara or any other software..
Usually images are supplied as part of a style guide with explicit guidance about image sizes and placement together with dire warnings not to ignore the guidance.
