Merge a shape and an image together as one
Hi,
I used to know how to do this but I have forgotten :-(
I draw a circle using the shape tool.
I then import an image over the circle.
Now I want to combine them as one singular image (logo within a circle)
How do I do the last step?
Thank You!
Re: Merge a shape and an image together as one
Select both (pic in font of shape) and hit Q
Re: Merge a shape and an image together as one
Hitting the 'Q' key means that you apply a ClipView. Alt+Q removes the ClipView again. For further info, check the Help file.

Gary, this doesn't work for any variation I can think of.

I thought the member wanted to combine the two shapes into one. But I retract what I said. Change that to with the target shape on top of the image, Combine Shapes > Intersect Shapes (Ctrl + 3)

What! Only three ways to do this?
