Do you want to make something in PSP but don't know how to do it? Let me know what you need help with or what you would like to draw and I just may make a tutorial about it. (If I can make it )
Thanks,
Gary

I have been working on this bottle topper for well over a month, and am just about ready to give up. It is a topper for a perfume bottle I am making and I want to it look like gold metal...and have been trying to use gradients to get the look I want. But just can't seem to get it right. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Carolyn

I am looking for an easy way to add multiple animations to one graphic.. here i added the soldier and then I added the fireworks... I had about 30 layers to merge as visible, save, unmerge, etc... it took forever to achieve. I am hoping to find an easier way to add more than 1 animation.

I like the gradients for the base. You did a good job on that. Ok there are two options for the topper: an easy one, and a more difficult one.
1) I have a tutorial called, The Midas Text, which is a gold effect tutorial. To make it work try adjusting the thickness of your bevel in the topper. That is the easy way to do a gold effect.
2) The second way that I suggest is a bit harder and will take more time. Using the colors in the base to serve as a reference, airbrush the top. Start with a darker gold color and smoothly airbrush your way until it shines.
Does that help? Hopefully, it helped you think about some other ways you might get it to work.
Sincerely,

Off the top of my head, I don't know of another way to do it but your end result looks great! One thing to remember about making outstanding graphics: "It takes time." What I do sometimes is spread a project out over a few days so that I don't become discouraged or exhausted. The most valuable lessons my art teacher gave me is that practice makes perfect, never give up, and to take your time - don't rush it. Keep exploring for new ideas and digging into Animation Shop's settings you might find something you've never noticed before. You can do it!

Thanks Gary, I will give your suggestions a try and when I have the completed bottle done, I will post it for you all to see. Also, your tut looks like it could be what it takes to do the trick!

Hi,
I am brand new to this board, and I visited your site and tried your tutorial on the bowl.
I got between step 4 and step 5 and when I went to flood fill all I got were faded shadows.
Like I said, I am brand new to PSP but I will try some of your others and try to figure out what I am doing wrong.

Could you show me what you got? That way it will help me pinpoint what went wrong. Thanks!
