Which product, or is it the Windows option?
For XPX365 v15 it is in the windows Regitry at Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XtremePro x64\15\Options\Recent File List.

Hi Because the list is very long after experimenting with various sites, and I now only cover two sites.

Ignore this:

Yes, the Registry Editor entry might be Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\WebDesign erPremium x64\15\Options\Recent File List where " x64" is there or not and "15" can be "12"/"11"/"10".
You probably need to set FileList Size to 0 and keep that and (Default), deleting the others.
If I was doing it, I would also Export the Key; others advocate backing up the entire Registry.
See #10 below for the right approach!

I am not sure if this would do the trick but it might be easier than editing the Registry.

Gary, that is ensuring you retain no Backups of your work! Backups are nothing to do with File > Open recent documents listed other than a convenient list to hang off.

Re: Delete "Open Recent" List
Then is not the simplest solution to NOT look at Open Recent Documents?
Backups are essential and I would never advise anyone to disable backups.
Re: Delete "Open Recent" List
Gary, thank you for persisting.
The "correct" method was there all along: Options > General > General Options: set the recent files to 2 to fit the OP's request.
