Hi all
I have a large image that I need to cut down into smaller fragments that are exactly 256x256 pixels in size.
Click and drag selection is too imprecise for this. Is there a better way?
Cheers,
FP

If you are using Paint Shop Pro ver 7 ...it now has an image slicer built in. You will find it under File-Export-Image Slicer.
If you are not using ver 7...there is a nifty FREE program available called Shoestring Picture Dicer. It is available here
It slices, dices and spits out the html code for you!

Thanks very much for answering
I've downloaded Dicer (I'm running V6) and will try it when I get home from work. *Looks sheepish*
Thanks again!
It works! You need to manually edit the grid file to get the exact 256x256 squares.
Thanks again
Glad you were able to accomplish what you wanted!

It can also be done if your using PSP version 6. Just double click on the crop tool and specify the size.
