Interesting concept, when I looked at the first picture I thought it was a jet then looked at the second picture and saw the prop old eyes I guess!!!!
Seems like a bizarre design and it must be from around the time of the P-38 lightning.
At least the lightning uses the twin tail design to good purpose with the twin engines, freeing up the central fuselage and compensating for the extra weight of the twin tail arrangement.
So well done. Love the sunlight on the cloud in the second illustration.
Well done Gray. I'm glad you did both views because I feel like the second one describes the plane better. Love both.=D>=D>=D>
Thank you joe, Paul, Gary, Marc, Larry for leaving your kind comments.
Gray, since this one was just a concept, where did you get information on it and how do you have a clue what it would have looked like since it was never built?
Hi Joe, I get most info off web. I look for a 3 view drawing of what it might have looked like and go from there. You can get the general layout of the aircraft from other aircraft of the same time period. If all else fails I will make up my own 3 view to use. From there I build a 3D wireframe model to use as a base for the drawing. Like this one I did for the fantasy Messerschmitt race plane.
Thank You for explaining Gray.
