Hi, I'm working on a graphic design portfolio and I'm having problems with a drag and drop.
Here is the link for the tutorial I followed.
Drag & Drop Nice and simple.
Here is the link for my drag and drop part of the movie.Working Drag & Drop Here it is working A-OK.
For my portfolio, I am making a main flash movie and then having that drag and drop movie load into it when a menu item is selected. When I have my main movie place the drag & drop movie into it, the drag and drop stops working.
I think it has something to do with the drag & drop movie not talking to the right movie when it checks if the drag object is over the target. I lost my flash book in an office flood and can't find an answer!

Hi there,
Not sure if you've found a response or not, yet, but the most likely reason is the ActionScript. Make sure that nothing references _root or makes absolute references which could be contained in the parent movie (your main movie). Try using references or keywords which indicate what you're trying to manipulate in terms of the place where the code lies. Things like this.xxx and _parent.xxx are things which can be extremely useful in making sure that files can be imported.
