How to change status bar text on mouseover/click
I use a lot of popup layers on my page and would like to get rid
Of the ugly javascript ppo(%27xr_xp14%27);xr_ppc(%27xr_xp10%27);xr_ppc(%2 7xr_xp8%27);xr_ppc(%27xr_xp7%27); that shows in the status bar of the browser. Is there a way to do this in web designer 6. I use popup locks and close buttons all over the place so the status urls look really bad.
Thanks

What do you expect to see there instead?
Re: How to change status bar text on mouseover/click
That is what i expect to see but I would like a custom message instead. I know this use to be possible in older browsers and i have found code but have no idea if it still works in newer browsers or how/where to paste code in WD that would change the mouseover/click status to something more attractive.
Re: How to change status bar text on mouseover/click
It is possible to override the status line content with a script in all browsers except Firefox. This practice is discouraged by W3C so the more browsers may protect their status line in future.
