Viewport Meta Tag?
Does anybody know if it is possible to add code to a Xara website that makes it adapt to iphone and ipad viewports? I tried this bit of code but it doesn't work: <meta name = "viewport" content = "width = device-width">. My page is 980px wide - maybe I shouldn't bother with code? Does anybody here have any experience with viewport sizes?

Re: Viewport Meta Tag?
I think most users of mobile devices are used to tapping to get the page to fit.
The latest versions of Designer Pro and Web Designer MX automatically add view port meta tags but the pages generally do not fit correctly in portrait mode.

Re: Viewport Meta Tag?
i agree with gary
when i use my phone to check a website i'll happily tap to zoom in
most websites designed for mobile are pretty sterile
check here to see what your website will look like on a phone http://www.mobilephoneemulator.com/

Re: Viewport Meta Tag?
Agreed with Frank and others! when you will use view port meta tag that will enable mobile browsers to render the web page according to the individual mobile devices.

webgeekbone Your profile says you use Adobe Suit. I think that should be Adobe Suite. Unless of course you are a tailor. ;)
