How i can activate HTMLBlockText?
You apply the name "htmlblocktext" to the section of text. See attached.
Preview then view source (Right click V)
Amazing thanks!!!!!!!!!!
I've tried but I cannot get multiple lines of text to show as a single H1 line in the source code. There's no telling what SEs will do when they see 2-3 H1 lines on the home page of a website so I cannot use H1s until I resolve. As Headers are larger type they will run to more than one line most often. Same would apply to H2s etc. Surely I must be doing something wrong? Just download the above .xar file and apply H1 style to the text in the bottom block and check out the source code.
HELP!
Thanks
Gary
Hi Gary
Not seeing that here. Htmlblocktext converts a Hx tag into a single block paragraph.
Otherwise it seems that headings are always exported as one tag per line.
For me it remains a block paragraph.Quote:

It can be done using placeholders
Unfortunatley not a good answer. This makes the H1-H3 functions essentially useless.
If I understand correctly if you want to have more than one line in a header you have to use this (hokey) methodology.
1. Enter the text WYSIWYG.
2. Preview the page.
3. Copy the html text for the h1.
4. Create a placeholder and paster the code into the placeholder.
5. Drag the original text off the page so its available for modification
Problems:
1. This does not work with 2 lines of text. You get one long string across the web page.
2. If you have H1s etc on every page this is simply unworkable.
This is not how it was designed to work. This has to be a "working incorrectly but working as designed". I thought I left this behind in V6 >:) Somebody please tell me I'm missing something.
Thanks
Gary
Hi Gary,
Have a look at this option. I have replaced the * with a placeholder containing <br>.
